Ticketing – Terms & Conditions

The New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association (NZSCA) has Professional Development, Event and Competition ticketing Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

The policy is required due to the costs associated with organizing events and to the limited space capacity of some events which could restrict opportunities for other members who would have liked to participate.

Professional Development refund policy:

Please note all fees are payable in advance and no space is confirmed until the payment is received. Should you wish to cancel your fee is refundable less a cancellation fee which is a third of the total cost of the ticket.

This only applies if written notice of the cancellation is received 14 days prior to the event. If the cancellation is made within 14 days of the event, no refund will be made.

Event and Competition refund policy:

Please note all fees are payable in advance and no space is confirmed until the payment is received. Should you wish to cancel your fee is refundable less a cancellation fee which is a third of the total cost of the ticket.

This only applies if written notice of the cancellation is received 21 days prior to the event. If the cancellation is made within 21 days of the event, no refund will be made.

Bereavement and Medical Reasons:

A full refund and/or credit may be granted on compassionate grounds from time to time at the discretion of the NZSCA. All applications for refunds and/or credits need to be made in writing as soon as the bereavement and/or medical reason is known.

Correspondence should be made to the NZSCA Communications and Administration Co-ordinator, info@nzsca.org. Please attach a copy of medical certificate where there is a medical reason.

Cancellation:

The NZSCA reserves the right to cancel an event where minimum attendance is not achieved. Under these extremely rare circumstances, the NZSCA shall notify attendees as soon as possible and refund the full ticket amount but not any associated costs incurred.

Change to advertised listing:

The NZSCA will take all care to ensure that event listings are accurate at the time of advertising, however, we reserve the right to alter details of an event from that advertised where the change is beyond the control of the NZSCA or where the NZSCA believes the change would result in an improved event.
